Yeah.

I think there's a, you know, sort of a general malaise about the North sometimes whenever you try and jump across the pond.

You know, people hear Northern Ireland and they're like, oh, not this again.

And I have got some incredible loyal readers in mainland UK and often, nearly always, once they pick up one book, they like it and they keep reading them all.

It's just getting them to read the first one.

I think sometimes readers are much smarter than publishers give them credit for.

So I'll give you an example of this.

We really struggled to get a US publisher for a long time.

And particularly with something like The Raptors, I thought this will go down really well with

all of the kind of Trumpy evangelicals and the Bible Belt.

And they'll be able to see themselves in it because it's about fundamentalists in Northern Ireland.

And the feedback was all like, oh, no, people won't understand the context of this.

You know, it's too Northern Irish, too specific.

The weird thing was that book did incredibly well in France, which is the most secular space in Europe.

And it resonated mostly with young Muslim women there.

who were able to look at Hannah, a little girl who's struggling to find her way, you know, as a woman in the Protestant evangelical world and go, that's really similar to my story.

I had these beautiful women coming up after readings and going, I respect my dad and my mom, but I'm also an autonomous woman in modern France and I want to make decisions for myself.

And that's Hannah's story.

It's the backdrop or almost like the costume it's dressed up in is Protestant evangelicalism in Northern Ireland.

But that resonates with young Muslim women in Paris.
