And so, you know, I don't know how this is playing.
President Trump seems to like a lot of pomp, a lot of, this is my buddy, we're great friends, you know, does it with Kim Jong-un, does it with Vladimir Putin, does it with, of course, Xi Jinping, and so forth.
And, you know, it was also mentioned, you know, when Vladimir Putin was around, there was a lot of pomp and circumstance.
So,
I sense that the president is trying to use this as a type of negotiating tactic.
I'm not a super fan of it because the one thing that the Communist Party is best at, even at co-opting its enemies, so to speak, is propaganda, is convincing the world, actually, everything is great over here.
We were in complete control.
There's no giant protests in China.
There's no cratering economy and so on and so forth.
It's so good at this.
And unfortunately, this sort of a spectacle fits into their propaganda narrative.
Look, look how important the United States sees communist China.
Look, we're on top.
They're going to try to set up all sorts of scenarios, all sorts of camera shots to show Xi Jinping being kind of the greater character, right, than President Trump and so forth.

We had this really powerful piece of leverage, right?
The leverage that we have is that Communist China is actually, according to our own State Department, genociding a group of people, the Uyghurs.
I think it's three groups, and we could discuss that another time, but at least one officially, right?
