And it was very difficult to get that designation.
The State Department does not do these things casually, nor did it do it entirely willingly, I think.
So the point is that this is an obvious reality.
There's constant reports of massive human rights violations in China of the range of crimes against humanity down to the most basic types of violations.
Why?
Because it's integral to their system.
And it's honestly, it's a powerful piece of leverage that I think
we've kind of forgotten about, because the narrative in the State Department is basically that, and not just the State Department, but in general, you don't want to say anything that will make them unhappy, because this is one of the red lines of the foreign minister, you know, saying, here are our red lines, democracy, human rights is one of those top ones, right?
So...
Why is it so powerful?
Because it cuts right through their propaganda image, the propaganda image of everything's wonderful here, everything's perfect, we're in total control, one big happy family, everyone supports Xi Jinping and everyone else, right?
It's just not the case.
And so I think breaking down this, like challenging this propaganda directly at the human rights is the most powerful tool for that.
And we just have it available, you know, I'd say for free.
Right.

I think you helped get this book on the New York Times bestseller list, which itself was astonishing because the New York Times doesn't like reporting on this.
But my point is like this, okay?
Let's use the forced organ harvesting as an example because I think it's a stark example of this integral nature that we're talking about, okay?
