Because when you start bringing in all that stuff about what's happened in the past and how you got here, you don't have the wherewithal, you don't have the gifts to access that you already have inside of you to deal with what's going on in the moment.
Right.
W well, and yet at the same point, I mean, some of the things that we get into with having ADHD, like, um, one of my most most painful client coaching clients was uh uh a young I an older gentleman with ADHD and he really struggled with his finances.
Um and lost most of the money that he ever made and was
so ashamed of that that he ended up taking his own life.
Um and uh he he had definitely had ADHD.
He was struggling with trying to work through it.
And yet that shame, those conversations that were going on in his head were so prevalent um and he and he had trouble sorting himself from it.
They he didn't know how to he didn't know he couldn't, he didn't choose to or
for whatever reason, uh, chose not to stay in the present moment and work with what was going on now.
He brought all of that contaminated stuff from the past into the present.
Um, I don't want that to ever happen to anybody, ever.

And we all equally have um the responsibility to protect that gift as much as we choose to.
Yeah.
That's really well that's really and that's really an important point, Nikki, because um part of what we're going for when we're when I ask myself, okay, w um, what is it that makes some people uh survive in difficult circumstances and some people have challenges?
