A major winter storm is hitting the East Coast with blizzard warnings from the Mid-Atlantic to New England, with some areas expected to get over two feet of snow.

Thousands of flights have been canceled so far.

In New York, the mayor has declared a state of emergency.

The Department of Homeland Security has reversed its decision to suspend TSA pre-check and global entry because of the partial government shutdown.

Earlier, DHS said it would suspend expedited screening programs as funding lapsed.

Pre-check and global entry are designed to help speed registered travelers through security lines.

Suspensions would have likely caused headaches and delays.

The shutdown began February 14 after Democrats in the White House couldn't reach a deal on funding DHS.

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has acquired the first-ever video uploaded to YouTube.
