Yeah, for me it was just when I knew one of my mates was coming after me, it was a sign of respect and vice versa.
So you always look forward to those challenges, those little battles.
Mate, they're everywhere, you know.
They're everywhere throughout the game.
They might be walking to a scrum.
They might be, you know, tapping someone on the shoulder.
You know, he's trying to make you feel good about, you know, the relationship that you might have so you don't go as hard on them.
It's like, ah, stuff you.
Yeah.
Don't touch me.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
But they're the little mental battles that you have throughout the game.
And yeah, I guess now watching on the other side, I see it through a different lens and I still watch for those moments for sure.
Every day was a grind.
Like literally, man, every day we – no one – we just had so much belief in what we did for so many years because –
we trained at an intensity that, um, was harder than games, you know, the, the, the amount of work, the, the, the time we spent in the wrestle room, like, um, yeah, we, we just got so much confidence knowing, um, and how much work we had done all our preparation.
So I guess when you turn up and you're just working hard, the years go by and obviously we had a bit of success there for, for a couple of years.
Um,
But it was, mate, you turn up with your best mates and you just enjoy what you're doing because everyone else is doing it as well.
