It's about an inner fear that we're projecting.
So it's probably not either or, is it?
It's going to be a combination of those sorts of things.

I mean, if we believe the theory that a dragon is really born, it's a story born of dinosaurs and they really existed, because obviously they really existed.
We don't believe in sort of mad theories that they didn't.

Then they are real.
They're just not called dragons.
They're just called dinosaurs to us.
In that sense, yeah, why not?

A lot of myth has a kernel of truth to it.
People always think, oh, what a nice story, and they move on.
But nearly all myth is an expression of our human interaction with this world.
And that's real.
