The game mechanics seem straightforward enough.

There's point-and-click steps to disassemble, clean up, and repair all these personal tech items and some sort of story element which is unfolding through cutscenes and interactions with customers.

The game is listed with a planned release date sometime in 2026, but you are currently allowed to request access to their current playtest phase on the Steam store.

So we have transitioned into a new era.

We're soldering old gadgets, now cozy, casual gaming fodder.

Does anybody want to say they're aggrieved by this cultural appropriation?

Yes.

I think that's kind of the heart of all of these cozy simulation games, is that people who run actual cafes are like, no, it's actually really stressful.

I don't want to play a game about having to run a cafe.

But for others, it's like, oh, how lovely.

I can decide what tea to offer today.
