I never knew really any of the ins and outs of
Franchising or
who this company was beyond what I found on the website and my research on LinkedIn, which Ray Titus was not on LinkedIn at that time.
So I couldn't really find anything much about him.
Get into a meeting and uh me and Ray kind of immediately hit it off.
And seven days later, not exaggerating, that was a Tuesday.
Uh the following Tuesday I was in the Trans World Business Advisors franchisee school.
Uh within a week after that I was in Dallas getting leads, meeting people.
introducing them to the Trans World Business Advisors opportunity.
So that was my first role as well, was a regional vice president.
After that went well, I did thirty six deals that first year.
So really helped kind of launch the brand.
One rookie of the year here at the United Franchise Group.
Ray and them kind of asked me, Hey, what are you doing?
And and this is where kind of my technology background really came to play.
I brought in
a lot of my real estate brokerage technology to franchise sales.
One of the things, Dan I'm not sure if you've ever connected the dots, but I felt franchise sales was an absolute natural for me.
Coming off the back of having brokered several thousand real estate transactions at that point, I found selling a franchise to be almost identical of a process to selling somebody a house.
Everybody starts off, they really don't know what they want.
