If they always want to buy something more then they can actually
afford.
There's a bunch of convoluted paperwork that the government has got involved with to just make things more complicated.
There's financing.
And then finally there's sitting down, paying, signing, and moving forward with something.
So I was very familiar with this process driven sales.
From the success we had in the Southwest region, about a year and a half later, Ray asked me to move to Los Angeles.
Uh my wife had never lived outside of Texas at that point.
I sent her a text and a few months later we were on a plane moving to Los Angeles.
Went to LA, uh, with the purpose of getting my real estate brokerage license in Los Angeles in California for the benefit of launching Trans World there.
So spent about seven months, got my broker's license, helped launch Trans World in California.
About seven months to the day after that, Ray asked me to move to Florida.
So I lived in California for nine months and then flew down here.
to Florida and took over as the director of franchise development.
At that point, Ray pretty much gave me free will to take over and try to
bring United Franchise Group into the twenty first century.
So I worked with the team here developing a lot of our systems and processes and C R M and marketing automation and new websites.
Uh we did very well.
We had some very successful years.
We doubled sales the following year.
