Real well, you know, I it's still going just on the other side of the ledger now, but yeah, definitely I uh

As you can appreciate with your history in the game, going back to junior and university hockey, I you know, I started in Sault Ste Marie with the Greyhounds as uh director of player personnel a a lifetime ago and Craig Hartsburg was our head coach, uh and uh Jeff Carter was our our top player at the time and came through and went through uh at the Nashville the the Predators for five years and then I finished up with the uh the Florida Panthers uh for ten years.

I was the director of scouting for the last five years that I was there and during the pandemic they made a change.

Obviously uh uh Dale Tallon uh was uh shuffled out as a general manager and

Like Dale always used to tell me back in the day, the closer the higher up you get in the organization, the closer you are to the door.

So when when change happens, uh out the door you go and uh I'm happy to be a member of the sportsnet team now.

It is, but I gotta tell ya, the guy in the uh cleanup spot for me is a really, really good player too.

So but at the top of the table, absolutely.

I went off the board a little bit, I guess, compared to some of my colleagues, Bob.

And uh one thing I have to make clear to you to your listeners, and I know that you appreciate this 'cause you've gone through these processes behind the scenes for for a long, long time, is I don't just dole out uh rankings in August or September.

I need the players to provide me a body of work to to to kind of strategize off of because year over year these are young guys, they change their body types, might change organizations.

Some of them have even gone to the N C double A hockey.

So I had to get a segment of games is what I call it, which is a minimum ten games in with all the prospects.

And at the top of the table that meant that Keaton Verhoff uh has overtaken Gavin McKenna to start the season.
