This kid, you know, he's full of you-know-what and vinegar sometimes.

He pushes back physically on top of being able to control the flesh.

offensively.

He's not a wilting violin when the game's that hard.

I really thought that he made some plays yesterday that were above the level, if that makes sense.

Some of the support where he put up and some of the plays that he made, support just wasn't reading and reacting to where he was making some plays, and that's just part of coding.

You've got to dissect some of that stuff in your process.

I really like Maddox's game.

Actually, I like Liam's game as well.

So they complement each other.

And Regina, as you know, in the Western Hockey League, they sort of bottomed out a little bit after the guard left town.

And these two players are going to be a big part of the equation for the Regina Packers going forward.

Maddox Schultz, to me, offensively, obviously, is just a lead.

But I didn't think he cheated the game a lick yesterday.

So I can see how people can say that Jonathan Hayes is in there.

Those are lofty, lofty comparisons for me at this stage of his development.

And we'll see where it goes.

But the thing about it is,

He plays fast, but an elite brain offensively, not cheating off the puck.

These are all great attributes that project very well for Maddox.
