And I'm like, I mean, it's just, and it's Christchurch.

I mean, everything's making sense.

The one thing Christchurch is missing is a family-friendly mud wrestling restaurant.

And I was like, are you shitting me?

Like what?

And we went.

So, you know, and we turn up there and there was these very friendly young women who were in their togs.

I remember one was called Madonna and that's about the level of togs.

I'm sitting here.

And then there was me and no one turned up.

Opening night, no one turned up.

I mean, why would you?

And so they went down to the pub and they just brought down like a hundred drunken men.

So I thought, well, this is not the family friendly vibe I was hoping for.

I remember Grizz Wiley was in the audience too.

He was, but that's another story.

And so that was the first paid gig.

And it was the only night that restaurant was open because it shut the next night because someone broke their leg jumping into the mud.

Long story.

So that was my first real paid gig.
