Oh, we're great.

Look, let's just, you know, I'd love actually to stop using the word storytelling and just go back to yarns maybe because we are really good.

The problem is...

We've just got this disbelief.

We just self-doubt up the wazoo.

We're just like, oh God, I'm not good at speaking.

And it's like, I'll say to people, well, have you ever practiced it?

Like, what have you done?

I thought the other day, somebody says to me, I'm not good at speaking.

I go, okay, well, there you go.

And I go, I want to say to them, are you good at golf?

I've never played.

Well, the first thing I'm not going to do is to sort of put them into an international televised golf tournament, right?

We're going to go to the driving range and hit thousands of buckets of balls.

And one day you'll go, I reckon we could go to an actual course.

And we'd all get that.

But for some reason, we all think, yeah, I spoke once, it went real shit, so I'm not a speaker.

Okay.

So it's amazing the amount of CEOs and leaders that I meet of huge organisations who don't see themselves as speakers.

And at the heart of every company going good or bad, it's always communications.
