But yeah, no, so I went through those days at varsity and had great time.

I started to understand, I was 25 or 26, I think, understand, you know, I can be a professional footy player here and actually work hard and lift a bit in the gym.
And I sort of regret that I didn't figure that out a few years earlier.
Hopefully I would have played super footy then.
But yeah, and so that sort of shaped me, I suppose, 40 or 13, 14 years at Munster through the playing and coaching space.
Yeah, I'm honest, we were having a few beers and we were playing footy and that was it.
And playing footy would mean Tuesday, Thursday training and playing on Saturday, you know, that was how it rolled.
96 was when it went professional, but no, not paid.
And then I went back to Naki for a couple of years before I went overseas.
I think I played 70-odd games for Manawatu and 30-odd for Taranaki.
