And in multiple studies of cholinesterase inhibitors, it's interesting, I've never seen a cholesterase inhibitor study that showed an effect on the Zaretz scale or the quality.
On this sc study, uh drug Pearsons on drug had uh a significantly different
scores on Zaretburden scale by their caregiver and patient rated quality of life on the quality D.
Patients on drug had higher self ratings of their quality of life than patients on placebo.
And the caregivers of patients on drug had lower scores on the Zaret Burden scale than patients on placebo.
So in these studies, the question of unblinding obviously is a big one because the side effects are ones that you're gonna kn you you can feel.
Um and you know, there'll be periods of time where you've sort of stopped your infusion or or go on placebo, et cetera.
And um
The bottom line is
When you their analyses uh take into account
The uh potential effect of unblinding, courtesy of side effects.
And they did a variety of sensitivity analyses.
I don't pretend to be able to sort of understand them all, but I'll take it and the sense from the uh the reads of the data are.
That you can't explain these data away by simply on blinding data on the cognition, data on the functional measures.
etc um that that that there is a drug effect here it's not just a confounding biomblinding.
That's a that's a study that'd be hard to randomize and blind too.
