Like, if some of you do, you're going to be playing twice on Thursdays this year.
But, oh, yeah, it's all about player health and safety.
But this is, for them, I think, at the ownership level,
some easy arithmetic, like, okay, you continue to show us concussion data that leads us to believe that kickoffs are some of the more violent incidents in our sport.
How many kickoffs really result in something that people would stay tuned to the TV for, or are they already kind of using that for a potty break?
We've already taken the explosion in the kickoffs away pretty much from our previous rules, so now let's just continue to mitigate it, and then, yes, we'll eventually eliminate it completely.
And then when we have, you know, CBA negotiations again in seven years, we can talk about how much, you know, we've already, we continue to do for players.
At the same time, we continue to play games on artificial surfaces where they're getting maimed in their limbs and their ACLs and their Achilles.
But God forbid we should mandate grass.
Like, you know, wow, we'd have to spend more money to actually keep our fields in place.
Well, we can't do that.
Oh, but player health and safety trumps all.
