And very few of them returned to work, I think about 20% after the fact.
And there are, I mean, again, I can't imagine being away from my colleagues for a stretch of three to five years.
It would have an impact on my ability to understand how to advance my career, how to adapt to changes because things are changing literally month by month now.
Oh, yes.
Wow.
It's insane.
In fact, I saw a post by Owen on LinkedIn, and he thinks that there are 100,000 jobs about to be taken out of Australia over the next six months, if I'm not mistaken, because of AI.
And so the landscape is changing.
It feels like an even more perilous time to...
Take yourself out of the workforce, yeah.
So there's the social aspect of it, because you do make friends at work.
And it's really just better for your mental health.
And ultimately, that trickles down into what does it mean for your family unit?
Are you as confident?
Just because you bore a child doesn't mean that you ought to give up a career.
So...
What's my take home from that?
The nuances really do make it.
And those forecasts even will surface those values.
