For me, I was lucky enough to have spent a lot of time in books and reading, having other opinions.
But, you know, in that time, I think there was also a gift in it because the best thing that we can do is develop our empathy for others to try and understand what other people go through.

And so I got, you know, in some ways to experience and see what you ladies went through.
A matter of fact, I mean, that's, I remember when the show first got announced long before, uh,
I ever had anything to do with it.
I was like, I wonder if this will work because the world, is the world going to let four young women be leading ladies?
That's not television.
You could do it on the Golden Girls, but you were, that was a different class.
This was an HBO show.
Absolutely.
Plus, you don't have the pressure of doing your character.
The characters were human.
I mean, I think Sex and the City, you know, unlike some of the spinoff things, of course, sensational fun.
