And I tried to do both things.
But you have to be available to be an actor.
And I was never available.
So I walked away from a lucrative career.
I was young enough and idealistic enough to do it.
Honestly, it was such a wonderful opportunity.
It transformed as I did it.
You know, at first I had a much smaller worldview because I hadn't seen the world.
And, you know, when I first got to Paris, I had no real intention.
I was just a young punk kid from- How old?
I was 21.
I turned 21, like right before I got there.
And it was, you know, and it was a different world then too.
Like we didn't have this monoculture we have now.
Like I was in a different country.
There was no phoning home.
And it was, there was a point of awareness because I had a three month ticket.
I had saved up some money and this agency, like, you know, they had fronted me the ticket and I didn't, I really didn't take it serious.
