I don't think that Don Kelly wants to wear either guy down this early in the season.

A lot of this stuff is scheduled.

So, you know, it's not, you know.

How does that happen?

I mean, I can assure you they did not go into this saying, how do we lose this game?

How do we incense the most people?

What they're doing is taking a feel for the longevity of a season, what guys are going through, who feels what, try to keep everybody fresh, try to keep guys productive, look at splits, look at what this guy throws, how's this guy faring against these pitches, what do I know personally about what this guy's going through,

Um, and it's, it's all reaching some sort of conclusion.

And I say all that to say, I'm as old school as they get.

I wish guys played one 62.

I wish we didn't have to have rest days.

That's not the way the world is right now.

So, I mean, that's, that's kind of where they're at.

They're trying to balance all of those things.

I understand that it's going to upset people.

I understand those guys have been good, but, um, you know, I can guarantee you, they didn't scratch out that lineup thinking, how do we make everybody mad?

He's been good against left-handers going back to spring training.

And I'm largely fine with what Cruz has done at the plate.

dating back to spring.

And I'm actually mostly okay with what Cruz has done in the field pre-WBC.
