I mean, they're coming at it.
They're saying Jared Triolo is our best defensive shortstop, so we're going to play him there.
A lot of times when we're looking at lineups, we're looking at ranking, like, one through nine, who's their best hitter.
It's not like that.
It's strategy.
What they're trying to do is avoid pockets of left-handed hitters.
So a lot of these lineups that people are reacting to, you're seeing maybe O'Hearn or Lau in the five spot and then Horowitz there.
You're not going to stack those guys five, six, and then hit Triolo seventh because it makes it easier for easier deployment for an opposing team.
So you sandwich Triolo in there.
That's not saying he's a better hitter than Spencer Horowitz or somebody like that.
It's saying it's strategy.
We don't want to give him a pocket of lefties.
But
Yeah, I mean, I see the belief in Triolo.
Like, this guy over 52 games last year had, what, a 775 OPS at 275, something like that.
Like, it's in there, and they're not going to react based off of four games, nor should they.
It's just β it's one of those things.
When the rest of the offense is struggling early in the season, gets magnified.
