There's a book by Nick Redfern called Final Events where, as I mentioned earlier, he claims that he came across these people in the Air Force who believed the UFO phenomenon was fundamentally demonic.

And so he got in contact with them and they were willing to speak with him.

And they told him in the history, the whole history.

So there was a guy called Robert Manners, Mr. Manza.

I forget all the names, but they had a variety of sort of cover names.

We didn't get the real names.

And these people told him, oh yeah, Richard Duke was one of them.

These people told him that going back to the 40s, when the UFO phenomenon had first appeared, there was concern that it was actually some sort of occult demonic phenomenon, that it wasn't necessarily extraterrestrial.

And they claimed that all of these correlations were popping up, including the fact that Jack Parsons was doing these rituals in the desert, but also other things like when there was that wave in 1952,

they claimed Jack Parsons had died having done some magical experiment which had led to this explosion and he died and then like a few weeks later the UFO phenomenon appears over DC so they were claiming there's these correlations I think

The correlations are frankly nonsense.

I mentioned earlier that the ceremony that Parsons did was in 1946.

The UFO phenomenon is all over America in 1947.

It's a year later and it's spread geographically beyond where the thing happened.

So I just think, come on, we can't pin everything on that.

But not only that, a lot of the other correlations they talk about where they're like, look, there was a group of Parsons devotees in this particular area.

And then the UFO phenomenon happens 100 miles away.

And it's like, really, 100 miles?

So there's lots of stuff like this.

But the truth is, this is what I find really interesting about this.
