in all the things we're going to talk about so been through a bunch of different stuff in the midst of that i also studied philosophy so i've kind of swung all over the place but this is the the most aligned and happiest i've ever been is knowing i can spend all of my time researching the things that we're going to talk about so yeah
Yeah, going into Christianity was about a few things.
Funnily enough, I'd actually been studying the UFO issue back then, although I use the word studying lightly because I hadn't studied philosophy yet.
I hadn't been rigorously trained in how to build arguments.
And so I was kind of just absorbing information without being very critical about it.
And that led me to be, frankly, incredibly pessimistic about the world.
And I began to see everything in quite an apocalyptic lens.
You know, it was kind of like we're facing this huge crisis.
There's this huge deception going on.
And then someone explained, I just came across these videos about Christianity and I was like, whatever.
But they explained it in that context.
They explained that, you know, there's this apocalyptic thing going on.
Here's what Jesus taught.
And I was like, actually, the things Jesus taught were really beautiful.
They really struck a chord.
It was the first time I'd ever paid attention to it.
And I found that deeply moving, his teachings.
But then it was what you would call the eschatological worldview, this worldview that there's an impending end and that there's a great deception associated with it.
And someone
who must have been looking at the Collins elite, who we're going to talk about.
