Actually, no, they were looking at a guy called, I think, Michael Heiser, presented Christianity and the UFO issue in that lens when I was about 19.

And they said the UFO issue is a deception designed to steer us away from God.

And I bought into it.

And so what happened was it was a combination of just the right thing at the right time.

I already had the right views necessary for all of that to make sense.

And then there was also this profound illumination, which I think actually anyone can have by reading, for example, the Sermon on the Mount, which just, it felt like the answer to everything I was looking for.

So that's what got me in.

It was quite an emotional thing.

And then afterwards I built my sort of philosophical underpinnings for it.

What happened was when I was 25, I'd been full steam for about six years and I was about to train to become a minister.

I was basically the young guy in the church who was about to become the next leader.

And I started to preach and everyone was very enthusiastic about what I was doing.

And I was just ready to go full steam ahead.

I wanted to study Greek, study Hebrew, and just really get into all of this stuff.

And a very wise man at the church called Viv, wonderful guy, he sat me down and he said, you know what you actually need to do is to take a year out.

And go and get a normal job.

Go and get out of this context.

Keep preaching.

Keep doing all the stuff you're doing.

But live a little bit outside of this world.
