And he knows that.

This is a perfect segue to episode two, which has this cold open.
The only time in the show that they ever do a cold open.
As this cold open, the guys are sitting in the back of the Bing in their little office area.
The Bing, of course, is the strip club in which they all hang out.
And they're watching this guy give a talking head interview about the mob.
And he's talking about how the mob is on the decline.
And they're all just like yelling at the TV.
They're shooting the shit about clones or whatever.
And then they get Syl to quote the Godfather.
And Syl does some Pacino impression.
Yeah.
There's a lot of interesting things to take away there.
Yeah.
And Goodfellas is very much about the peak of the mob, the days when you could walk through the Copacabana and you'd be taken on this wild, luxurious ride and given whatever table you want and so on and so forth.
That's not what it's like for these guys anymore.
