you know, going to a new team and who knows, you know, where you're going and who they're recruiting and how many new players are going to be and how many returning players are going to be.

I think you're going into an unknown situation where you're basically starting from scratch and you got to prove yourself again.

And, you know, that's, you know, that's something that, you know, is challenging.

And I think those guys were looking for and, you know, definitely those guys will be missed from our group.

Now that we know where they all stand and what their plans are, it's about kind of planning moving forward and us as coaches and the management staff taking the steps to give us an opportunity to be successful moving forward.

I think we were confident and we knew we could play with any team in the league at that point.

I think we'd played a lot of meaningful games leading into the playoffs that year.

I think the last two months of the year were pretty much almost a playoff game most nights.

It was a game that had meaning and a game that had importance.

The way we played down the stretch, we were competing for 60 minutes and playing complete games, and we were doing a lot of the little things right.

We weren't beating ourselves, which is huge importance.

When you're limiting the amount of mistakes you're making and you're defending and competing at a high level, and you've got great goaltending, which we did have, it gives you an opportunity in any game.

And then you ended up... No, I think in those playoff series, you take that game-by-game approach, but as much as people talk about momentum and swings in games, I think every game is its own game until the series is over.

You just have to worry about the next task at hand.

And I think as a group, we had belief and we were...

We were playing, like I said, and not giving ourselves, you know, giving games away and not giving, you know, periods away.

And, yes, there were mistakes in the game, and we got good saves and big saves at the right time.

But, you know, we very rarely, you know, put ourselves in a situation where we were taking, you know, a parade to the penalty box and a bunch of penalties or, you know, giving –
