And what year did you guys really start to expand?
I would say right before the couple years before the pandemic, we were really starting to expand.
You were doing it right before the pandemic?
We were starting to expand two, three years before the pandemic.
Was that bad?
I mean, was it just the pandemic?
The pandemic...
froze everything, of course, right?
Like everything kind of crashed down.
We had to lay off pretty much everyone at that point.
And it was really scary, but the faith in the brand always remained because even when we're all closed, people are still emailing us like, hey, we're in lockdown right now, but we could really use some of your chili oil, for example.
So, you know, we started shipping stuff.
I started delivering meal kits locally using some sort of app that routes all the stops.
It was cool because there was no traffic in New York and I would just
drive around and drop off stuff and actually meeting the customers face-to-face during the pandemic, outside, of course.
But it was pretty cool.
But nowadays, I would say that our expansion has really sped up in the recent times.
How many stores is it?
We're 25 right now.
