Do you know what, funnily enough, that never really came into my head because he was so down to earth.
It was just like chatting with someone on the corner.
I remember one year after the big busk, he's on stage with all these Irish music legends, and then you walk out half an hour later and he's at the top of Grattan Street busking everybody and joining in the crack.
And I think that's what it is.
He was a people person.
He loved people.
Like, you know, he loved music.
And you bring that combination together, like, you know, when you feel something special is happening, you know, because you're so energetic and, you know, running around, getting everything together, like, you know what I mean?
And you kind of feel, you gravitate towards that nearly, you know?

be absolutely reading today and I just want to send my own condolences to Moira and Christy and Glenn's brothers.
I got to know Glenn later than most other people.
My wife knew him through music because she used to do the Lights for the Frames way, way back.
But I got to know him through activism.
Much as I loved Glenn's music, and we often joked about that, I got to know him
as an activist.
And I got to know him through his mum, actually, Catherine.
