Catherine was what we used to call a water warrior.

She was a supporter of the Right to Water campaign going way back in the day.

And it was actually, she was always on to me, you know, in the loveliest way now.

And she wanted me to meet Glenn and we ended up meeting.

And

There were other things to talk about.

And he performed for Right to Water.

We used to have these big kind of rock concert things masquerading as protests.

And I know him and Damien Dempsey, and Damien would be devastated as well, performed a couple of times.

One time famously in Merrion Square, the two of them did a duet of

the old triangle in the freezing cold.

And then, of course, Apollo House happened.

And Glen was really a big mover there.

Because of the water charges campaign, the housing emergency, of course, was evolving.

People were saying to us, because we've been involved in the water, would we do something about the housing?

But it's such a complex area, as Catherine there knows, and other people know, of course.

We didn't know what we could do, you know?

But then Dean and Glenn and people like that kind of got involved at Christmas.

It was 10 years ago.

I actually met him a couple of weeks ago to talk about this, because it's 10 years since Christmas is coming, Apollo House.
