I recently heard someone say desirability is like built in discovery.
No, it wasn't Terry Agans.
But we do love Terry Agans, my fashion godmother, as I say.
She had a lot of other one-liners that are worth telling, but we don't have eight hours.

It's like the...
Part of what is desirable is like the unknown.
And so like a place like a boutique, a place like a bookstore, a place that has curation, where it's like you can go and kind of not necessarily know what you're looking for, but then bump into something great is so much of an experience that I feel like so many people are missing.
And this kind of goes back to like the rise in like the vintage thrift of it all, because like that's happening just by nature of the experience itself, because it's just a collection of a bunch of different things.
And so I just feel like that needs to be more... Me as a consumer, too.
I don't know how to separate between me, the fashion professional, and me, the consumer.
And me, the consumer, is incredibly uninspiring because I'm like, what's new?
Unless I'm going to Dover Street Market, which basically feels like shopping at a gallery.
The things you find in there are so amazing.
But other than that, I go into a lot of these...
retail stores and it's like the most generic buy it's the most commercial item and also too as like an industry person i remember it was funny it was the mic first time at harrods oh my god and i was and like i think i just and i think i was actually there because i just come from paris fashion week i was in paris my sister was living in london at the time
I was, like, so excited to go to Harrods because I had watched so many, like, Harrods blogs and, like, you know, the iconic retailer.
And I remember, like, going to, like, super brands and, like, going in.
