I don't think people realize that people in your level, in your position, are learning from interacting with students.

I think it goes back to that thing we were saying about, do they understand or are they motivated?

I think that gets into a psychological thing with people.
I think that one of the reasons that the reinforcement side of the equation is so well understood and so many people are so good at all the nuanced and all the possibilities
You know what I mean?
They're not just like jackpotting everything for no reason.
Like they'll get into the weeds about variable structures and all kinds of crazy shit.
And then when you start talking about punishment, people are just like the level of thought that has gone into it is usually just so much lower.
Like if you quiz people about reinforcement strategies, they would get a higher percentage correct than if you quiz them about punishment.
