Some white people, they don't have that benefit, for lack of a better word.
When someone comes to see me, when someone comes to see one of your live shows with you and DL,
very rarely does someone walk in and go, listen, I wonder how they feel about some of this racist stuff Trump has said.
But some of these white comedians, they do have fan bases where there's a question mark sort of attached to their actual political leaning because everyone's sort of this blurry centrist.
And some people have become way more vocally progressive over the past because they had to be and because they have
you know, marginalized groups of people in their lives, but then some people did the opposite.
Joe Rogan.
Every other week, Joe Rogan goes, I'm not conservative, but I'm here to talk to conservatives and give them a platform.
Or he goes, oh, I'm not conservative.
He talked to Bernie Sanders one time, and he was like, see?
But then you had J.D.
Vance.
It's the J.D.
Vance of, I don't know, it's Tim Dillon having J.D.
Vance on twice.
It's a lot of
comedians trying to make sure that those Republican patrons of their comedy still buy tickets.
Cause guess what?
Republicans, they be spending money.
They cause they want to spend money cause they want to go around a bunch of other people who are going to affirm some of the beliefs they already have.
