It's a fascinating case study right now as far as like sociology and comedy.
Listen, I think that some... Well, then we get into the true conservatism.
Because I would say some of these older black comics are conservative, but some of their conservatism comes from them just being an older black man.
And they kind of understand racism, but they don't understand homophobia, transphobia.
They don't understand misogyny.
They're not necessarily as aware of class consciousness because they've been a millionaire for a long time.
I think that sadly...
And I'd love for him to push back.
I think that Dave Chappelle has swung more conservative just based on the nature of his refusal to give up some of his joking about trans people in a way that I would have not categorized Dave Chappelle as a conservative in 2003, 2004, even 2006.
So I think that a conservative swing happens, not necessarily because they get older, but because some people get stubborn.
Some people go, oh, I was always right.
If I was, if my brain was the same as it was in 2015
as it is now, I'm like, I'm more progressive than, than I was.
And some people, they learn and they shift and some people, they get very stagnant and stuck and you know, it's, it's tough.
The way I talk about trans people now, the way I talk about trans people in my life, the way I talk about, you know, so many different things, the way I talk about Israel and Palestine right now, the way I discuss those things,
It has changed.
And I think that some people's fear of change has now sadly locked them in with a fan base that might not necessarily be the most progressive.
They be coming out of the closet as Republicans when it comes to comedy, they be like,
