It's to be continually curious.
The biggest mistake that I see people making is this, that they tried a thing,
It didn't work, and so now they just wrote it off.
But the pace of change is like nothing it's ever been before.
Software historically is on a annual life cycle, right?
Your iPhone gets a major update once a year, you complain about it, your battery dies, you gotta buy a new one, you've done this before.
But AI is different, it's changing every week.
And the pace of innovation is so strong.
So I'm looking for people who are continually curious.
I'm looking for people who are builders, not bystanders.
I'm looking for people who are ready to take action.
It doesn't have to be you, but you need somebody on your team who is that person who is willing to go try stuff.
I'll give you one specific last story.
I was teaching at an event on AI a while back for a bunch of business agency owners, and one of the guys in the crowd raised his hand, and he said, hey, but here's the thing.
People will be able to tell the difference between what's AI and what's not for a long time.
And I said, do you think so?
And he said, yeah.
I said, okay.
My 14-year-old daughter was standing in the back of the room, and I called her up on stage.
She likes the stage as much as I do.
