So the snake went the only other way it could, and that was up my arm.
I fucking froze.
Suddenly my brain clicked into my one out of three odds of she'll be right also meant two out of three odds of she fucking won't be.
More and more snake kept coming from behind the fridge, so more and more and more kept going up my arm.
By the time the tail of the snake had left the fridge, its head was already up my sleeve and I stayed dead still feeling the snake calmly slither up the back of my neck.
I felt its tongue flicking in and out, tackling my ear on the other side.
Fuck, that's my worst nightmare.
Wants to buy a snake.
Thinking of moving to Africa.
Can.
It's a black mamba.
So does the missus.
Now that I knew where the dodgy end of the snake was, I started slowly walking towards the open door, trying to move as little as possible, but also as quickly as possible.
I don't think I've ever said fuck that many times in a row, or that quietly.

I managed to get outside without pissing it off, slowly dropped to my knees, leaned into a bush, and thankfully the snake cooperated this time and slithered off my sweaty fucking carcass, never to be seen again.
Unfortunately, I was completely by myself during this whole endeavour and never took a photo of the fucking thing.
