Didn't see a ton of them on the court and just super sad, man.
Yeah, before the injuries, for sure, the energy and athleticism that he did bring, pairing with John Morant there, like you said, same draft class.
I mean, all of his highlights are like,
Awesome John Morant dimes to him or alley-oops to Brandon Clark throwing him down.
And he got rewarded for it after that playoff run there.
He got the four-year $50 million contract from the Grizzlies.
But then, yeah, the torn Achilles and then the right knee injury.
We just hadn't seen this guy.
He hadn't played.
He played something like 72 games over the last three seasons.
So really sad news.
I think it's important to use this unfortunate event as a timely reminder to check in on your loved ones.
Call them, text them, do what you got to do.
So to use this very sad news as something to remind you to do that.
Anything else about Brandon Clark?
Because that wasn't it yesterday.
What, four or five hours after the news broke of his passing, Jason Collins, the NBA's first openly gay player, died of brain cancer.
This was on Tuesday again.
He was 47.
Now, for those that don't remember, Collins retired in 2014 after a 13-year career that included stops with the New Jersey Nets and Memphis and Minnesota, Atlanta, Boston, Washington, and then a return to the Nets when they moved back or moved, excuse me, to Brooklyn.
