He'd been there for so long because he was part of the same draft as John Morant.

And we all, especially as Canadians, expected him to be very good starting that career.

It was really good going into that time.

that second round of the playoffs when he had that good run against Minnesota in 2022, or he was a couple 20-point games in the playoffs.

Yeah, super athletic, and then obviously the injuries slowed him down.

And here we are.

Terrible, terrible news.

Yeah, it's pretty rare that an active NBA player dies.

Like, there's only been a handful in our lifetime, really, and only 29 years old.

It's just super sad, and people only had good things to say about him.

posting old text messages, inspiring him and kind of like talking about their relationship.

Everybody just seemed to really like the guy and are going to miss having him around.

So he's battled injuries the past few years.
