Uh this is an image it's almost impossible to see on the screen, but this shows our access points to the two Route 50 entrances. low-confidence

Uh the top image is going from west to east, and then it goes down to the middle image and then to the bottom image. low-confidence

On the middle image, you can see there is a turn lane that goes into the church entrance today, which will be preserved. low-confidence

The issue is that it ends at the the first existing driveway on land bay four. low-confidence

What we're doing and what is shown on the bottom image is that turn lane extending to the land bay four entrance, which is right and right out, and then coming out as an acceleration lane and then going back into traffic. low-confidence

So to your point, Commissioner Kears, of the public hearing, we will not have direct access from the the through lanes uh entering this entrance here. low-confidence

And just to touch on the entrance and why we're proposing it, number one for the church, as I mentioned before, they believe that's important for their survivability. low-confidence

For Lamb Bay Four, and this was alluded to in the previous application, uh, about the difficulty in getting retail built, we're proposing forty thousand square feet of commercial retail at this site. low-confidence

Uh building that retail is a very difficult thing to do nowadays. low-confidence

Uh there are tenants um that the Optima representatives are low-confidence

Trying to lord this site, the best access we can provide to them is going to give us the best result and getting the best tenant. low-confidence

If the commission wants to propose a different alternative, that's your prerogative. low-confidence

But we believe this is the right approach for this, and it uh it meets VDOT spacing standards. low-confidence

We have not got any additional VDOT comments on this, but it is a policy issue, and we recognize that policy issue from DTCI staff. low-confidence
