But I do think we have a number of guys, you know, working back from injuries that could end up, you know, pitching in in some different roles.
Um and that's just the that's the nature of the end of the season.
You know, that that's what happens and uh hopefully some of those guys can can you know ex you know kind of create have outgetters, as Craig would say.
You know, it might not be conventional starting pitchers, but they can get a lot of you know important outs.
It was funny actually.
We screwed that up so badly.
Um
So I was joking with Kevin when when I saw him.
He was like h I guess his wife said to him, like, Oh, finally the Cubs traded for you, like it was inevitable.
And uh we tried to trade for him so many times when he was with Baltimore.
Uh he was like our white whale, like clearly under like undervalued talent, you know, what they weren't getting the most out of him.
We went after him over and over and over.
Um and then he kind of bounced around a little bit, you know, Cincinnati, Atlanta
And um
when he was a free agent, I think it was before twenty twenty, he signed with the Giants.
We didn't sign him in part 'cause he struggled a little bit and we're like, okay, maybe the maybe we weren't right after all.
And then he goes to he goes to the Giants figures it out.
And figures out.
We're like, oh my God, we were right all along and we just we just weren't um stubborn enough to it.
Um but yeah we tried to trade for him so many times.
