I mean, um uh I actually I mean I think I will bring out my experience of as a Canadian um to bear because the Canadian um um elite, the sort of centrist types in Canada have been very deeply, profoundly pro American, you know, going back to the nineteen fifty
40s.
Um and now a lot of these people, like, you know, when I hear them or uh talk to them, like they're the most anti American people because they are the sort of betrayed lovers.
They're the people who are really invested in this idea of the US as the bulwark.
And now you know you have another president that you know like basically is talking about taking over Canada or you know, the Prime Minister of Canada's the the governor.
Um you know, like these people
feel profoundly betrayed.
Um and it's I think it's gonna have like uh i it it's i impossible to even calculate what the impact of that is.
But but they are very much like thinking about, you know, what will it take to build a post American world?
What will it take to, you know, like, you know, it's like if you're in a situation where you're in a bad marriage and uh you y you don't know any quick way up, but you're sort of like starting to move some of your stuff into a friend's
Uh apart you know the you're looking you're looking for the exit.
Okay.
Uh uh and I I I think all of America's allies are looking for that exit.
I'll say about the Greenland.
Obviously it's a total farce that he created a crisis and then like, you know, uh uh solved it by signing um uh an agreement at the same time but that's actually what he did with free trade in his first term.
And I actually thought like if Trump follows this strategy, that's like the best case scenario, right?
That is like you create a mess and then you decl declare victory and you go back to the status quo.
Like if he could do that with uh uh
Iran, uh we we'd be laughing, right?
