But like like unfortunately he's also created um uh messes that are so big that they're not easily you you can't just declare victory and and go back to normal.

I think it is in the Western hemisphere that he has has exerted the most power uh i very much in the sense of like getting these elections.
Like I think he's you know put his thumb uh on the scale of various elections that were very close and so the US has like, you know, sort of um uh friendly regimes.
Uh but I I don't know how sustainable that is.
Uh uh certainly like, you know, like the typical pattern
Um uh for the twentieth century has been that like American imperialism in uh even in its neighborly states has consequences.
You know what like it was uh uh people forget this, but it was like the um American coup in Guatemala that radicalized Che Guevara.
Uh and like you know, like uh uh you know leading up to the Cuban Revolution.
So I don't know what's gonna happen in the minds of people all across the Southern Hemisphere as they see like, you know, not even the pretense of like democracy promotion or the good neighbor.
Like Trump is saying he at the UN he said this about Venezuela.
To the victor go the spoils and you know, like like like just open plunder of like resources.
Um I don't think that's a model for like uh relationships.
Um, you know, you you will have some satrapy regimes that will like, you know, um uh uh uh filled with um these kind of like vitchy figures that will like, you know, uh kiss your ass and go along with it, but you're also gonna like in the long term create a lot of popular anger, um and it it's not a sustainable model at all.

Oh I I mean I mean that yeah, I mean that that is the other thing.
There has been like these widespread attempts at sort of regime change.
I think most successful in Latin America.
Um uh less successful but with some influence in Europe as well.
