What does not working out look like to you, Max Scherzer?

What does it look like to us?

Because it can be two different things.

Max can feel great.

But, you know, there is an element of performance here.

They're prepared for it.

And that, to me, I took away feeling good about that.

Like, you do get the sense.

And also, and John said, you know,

I get the impression he and Max have probably talked about it just mano a mano at some point.

You know, because Max is in his ear all the time.

Absolutely.

And I'm sure that's come up.

So that, you know, I think we can lay aside any thoughts that this is going to be a quote-unquote issue beyond Max not being able to perform and hurting your bullpen.

If that's the only issue.

then we're okay.

If the other stuff has been talked about and been decided, then I'm okay with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they give him one more IL stint.
