We still have a great game to watch tonight, great scoreboard watching going on. This is the agony and ecstasy of autumn baseball.

There's actually four teams between them in the wild card spot, if you want to be crazy about it, right?
And the other complexity here is that, of course, they own the Jays do the tiebreaker with Cleveland, but not with the White Sox. And
that
is potentially a real issue. And that's where, and again, it's not as though Jays fans have to be reminded of this, but every single game does count. Remember back way early in the season, the road trip to Chicago, some sloppy baseball, the Jays let some games get away way back then. The bill is coming due for that now. Every single game matters. And no matter what happens this weekend, I would still look back and say some of the oh-no games that you've let get away this month are not necessarily those that you might see happen against the Rangers this weekend, but the Monday game against the Tigers, the Wednesday game against the A's, some games that were in your grasp this that you did not win. And that to me, if there is an epitaph to be written on this team, if they don't make it to the playoffs, it's going to be those games and not necessarily so often games against teams like the Rangers, which is a team that's playing very, very well right now.
This Rangers team, and let's not forget, they at least in some distant way have a notion of still being involved in the divisional race too. So there's a lot at stake for multiple teams this weekend.
John, are you concerned about Dylan Cease's velocity?
I am watching it. I am aware that he is not as dominant now as he was going back. I think I looked up his most recent start, and these are approximate numbers here, but I believe he had five or six pitches that were above 95. And earlier starts in the season when he was at his absolute peak, it was like 25 times a game he was getting to that level. It's, to me... I'll make a general statement that I'm curious if either of you are on board with. But we talk a lot about average velocity in this game. And that's, yeah, that's one way of measuring it. To me, I look more at median and peak velocity. So you might, meaning how many times when you really have to, do you have it still in the tank to go get 97?
