Then they say, oh, no, no, no.
The Constitution says that elections are only for states.
They're not for the federal government.
Well, you're giving me a good opening to talk about a win we had a couple of weeks ago at the Oversight Project, a case that I personally went out to try on an emergency basis with my colleague and head of our state litigation, Neil Cornett.
So the victory we won was that Adrian Fontes, the Secretary of State, Democrats Secretary of State in Arizona,
and Chris Mays, the same Democrat attorney general who prosecuted John Eastman and Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani and Christina Bob, et cetera.
And then she lost and she's vowed that she's going to re-indict them with a new grand jury.
I mean, that's who the people we're talking about here.
They're very subtle.
And so they rewrote their election manual to say that there are state statutes against intimidation.
And so they say if someone shows up to
vote in a law enforcement uniform or there are military members in their Air Force bases near Pima County where we brought this case, that that's inherently intimidating and the police can be called on them and they can be ejected and they can be denied the right to vote.
So the judge blocked that.
He granted us a preliminary injunction against that.
But this is the kind of thing they try to do, right?
This is something that clearly disenfranchises Republican voters because
If you're in the military, if you're in law enforcement, if you're an agent, you're much more likely to be a Republican, right?
Look, I know a lot more about Georgia because that was the focus of what I was investigating when I was last at the Justice Department in 2020 and early 2021 than I do about Maricopa County.
What I know about Maricopa County are things that I've read, cases that I've followed, what happened with Cary Lake and what happened with people who go to vote and it turns out magically they don't have the right size paper
And that that also targets Republican districts.
