Simple.
I just got up in the morning and went to a meeting, you know, made arrangements to see my kids at some point during the day if I could.
And life was just really simple.
Of course, I met a woman in AA and who...
And we fell in love, which is generally not a good idea to meet a woman in AA.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
But but but I was definitely.
you know, on the rebound from my marriage and she, her marriage was breaking up too.
And, um, at first we just started hanging out with each other and then we started dating.
And by the way, we're married 15 years now.
So, so that's, that's Lynn.
and she was not equipped to deal with all this madness and where it looked like i was going to prison and she's just not that type of person and how like like what a bad bet i was like what is she doing with me i mean she's beautiful she's a greenwich woman she she she's she she has all these friends in town but she was an aa so she had a you know she had a drinking problem
And we wound up, you know, getting sober together in essence.
My case was proceeding and it took two more years to get sentenced and for all kinds of legal reasons.
But in, on April, on Easter Sunday, April of 2006, I reported to Allenwood Low Security Prison.
Oh, I got an 18-month sentence.
Okay.
18 months.
I did go to downward departure.
