I'll tell you one of the things.
It's that sitting opposite someone,
who I don't have to like go back to square one and explain everything to, that I know that you know what I'm talking about is important.
It's critical.
And I know who your reach is.
You know, I know the good work you're doing and how you're trying to get yourself out there and improve things for people.
So that was important to me.
You know, I really had to check you out the right way.
Yeah, that's right.
Yeah, it depends who it is.
We are our worst enemies, you know, whatever's going on in our head, boy.
I've learned there's nothing beneath me.
Nothing.
I cleaned out trash cans in prison.
And even when I got home, when I was volunteering at those rehabs, I was cleaning up vomit.
That's what I was doing.
All of a sudden you have something to lose again.
Yeah, well, some of it's a trauma reaction too, you know.
We don't really know how traumatized we are and how beat up we are.
And that gratitude we have just for like little things and just to be able to, you know, just to be able to breathe or just to be able to...
