So this doesn't mean the Capitals are necessarily done just because they lost Nick.
Yeah, I don't β I haven't really β have you guys seen anything from Washington that's like, ooh?
I mean, Ovechkin is still there, and they have some talent, but there's nothing about the way Washington's played where I'm like, ooh.
I mean, I would like to see them help themselves in the faceoff.
You know, Sid obviously is going to help when he comes back.
But if they don't, yeah.
And successful ones.
I mean, look at the track record this year from Kyle Dubas.
If you want to talk about the upset of the season, who would have thought after last season that Kyle Dubas would be the hottest GM in sports?
I mean, the moves he's made.
Yes.
Some very minor that have really hit with the Penguins and, I mean, number one among them.
Who knew of Dan Muse?
Exactly.
Remember when Dan Muse was hired?
Everybody's like, who the hell is Dan Muse?
And Bob, the other thing I wondered about is how is Dan Mews, the penalty killer, who works on the hard worker, who had to work real hard just to play in college, how is he going to be able to convince some of these superstars to play a system?
He did it very quickly, and he got whatever he said, meetings he had with Carlson, he got him to buy in, which probably the minute Sullivan left, he was probably ready to buy in.
He got Malkin to play wing.
He's done, and they play responsible hockey, and that's why, to your guy's point, if they don't make a move, I still think they can be a headache in the playoffs.
