Yeah, absolutely.
Thanks for having me.
Yeah, I mean, I just think.
Obviously, the first half of my year didn't exactly go the way we wanted it to, and I
we took a deep dive and just kind of looked at, uh, usage and pretty much just looked at anything that could, that was different from, um, the years that I have, that I've had that, that were my best years.
Uh, so we kind of targeted usage and, um,
We saw that there was a pretty big difference between 23-24 and 25-26, how we were kind of using my arsenal.
And I just wanted to get back to, well, actually just see if getting back to those type of numbers would help anything.
And when we made the change, we actually did see some pretty good results immediately.
um and so we kind of ran with it and uh now it's kind of just like tinkering uh and and uh you know making sure we're getting those specific pitches in the right locations and um i think from from what we've seen so far to this point with those changes uh you know we like we like the results and uh just want to continue on that path and and see where it goes
Um, I think it was, uh, it wasn't a conscious, it wasn't something that we like put in a game plan and said, Hey, we're going to throw more fastballs.
Um, I think it was just a by-product of, um, number one, me not really shaking a whole lot when I'm out on the mound.
Um, you know, I'm, I'm a guy that likes to be in a, in a good rhythm, a good, uh, have a good pace.
And, um, usually when you're out there shaking a lot, it kills that a little bit.
Um, and then working with new catchers and, and, um, um,
Me probably not doing a good enough job of communicating what I wanted to do with my arsenal.
But I think we have a good understanding, me and the catchers right now, of what I want to do.
I think what makes me...
What has made me good in the past has been being slider dominant.
And, you know, it's a it's a pitch that doesn't really get hit a whole lot hard.
