So I think we're in a good place with it now and how much we're using it now.
Yeah.
Um, Valley's a really bright kid and, um, obviously has all the tools necessary to, to be a good big league catcher for a long time.
And, um, I think the big thing for us was getting those into just innings under our belt.
Um, spring training innings aren't really the same as like innings that we have here now at this point in the year.
And, um,
So once he was added to the roster and he was playing a lot pretty much right off the bat.
So it was it was fun to kind of see him grow on the fly.
And he really, you know, anything we've brought to him from a pitch calling standpoint, from a targeting standpoint, from.
really anything um that involves his game um he's been able to make the adjustments like super quick and uh it's really cool to see because now you add a guy like kirk back to the mix and um now you got any kind of 1a 1d situation where you know obviously it's still so early in valley's career but what he's shown us so far is that he can handle the load and um he's come
I think it'll be really important for us to have guys like that.
I mean, when Kirk needs a blow, you know, if we really don't miss a beat, a guy that comes in, he can hold his own offensively and defensively.
And obviously he's got the arm that everybody talks about.
And, you know, it's a great target behind the plate.
So we're really excited to have him.
And I know all the guys down in the bullpen really love throwing to him.
Yeah.
Um, I try not to be too in their face about, about anything.
Um, you know, I know what their head must feel like when they, when they finally get up here and, um, you know, a guy like Yinger and, and Mako, like Mako comes up and he's a Toronto kid and he's pitching at Rogers center for the first time.
